On Saturday, November 2nd, an autumn work party was called via the Pracanti WhatsApp group. Twelve volunteers gathered to move large flower pots to the gazebo for wintering, cleaned the gutters (which catch roof debris) around the church and the rectory, mowed the lower bank of the garden, removed invasive shrubs, and also turned the contents of the garden composters. At the end of the work, around noon, the volunteers warmed up with a delicious lunch and coffee with cake. Another family group then cleaned the summer flowers from the troughs in front of the rectory in the afternoon, while another person arranged the winter decorations in the boxes on the balcony. Thanks to the commendable efforts of all involved, we have the garden and the church ready for winter.
We thank everyone for their help. We will try to announce the next work party (probably spring) earlier, so that more interested parties can join.
